Review summary

Harmony of the Seas was my least favorite ship. It is entirely to big. There were not a lot of activities. It had a musty/urine smell. Bring you own anti bacterial get, because the machines are always empty.

We waited 3 hours for lunch at Jamies. The buffett was nothing special. There was not a large selection. I expected juices - not just apple and orange. Getting unsweet tea for breakfast was an issue. To get an espressor martini, I had to go to the buffett to get espresso and take that to a bar by the pool to get it made (they had vanilla vodka). Even with reservations for dinner, you still waited to be seated. The first night for dinner was mayhem. There were lines all over, including down the halls where there were cabins. There was no one from the staff to direct or answer questions. There was only people trying to encourage you to pay for specialty restaurants.

Activities would change times and would not be updated on the app, or activities would state they were in one place but be in another. The ship is to big to have people walk around for the activity.

There was a urine smell and must smell through out the ship. The anti bacterial machines were ALWAYS empty.

There was no seating for handicapped. There should be a pool. It is very difficult for a handicapped to get in an out of a lounge chair or the ocean.

Emmadevilish don’t worry, it’s just their opinion which they’re entitled to but most reviews of the ship are positive. Just wait till you go to see for yourself and form an opinion.

Sorry that you had a bad experience on Harmony. I sailed on her last April and everything was perfect. Food was great, sanitizers were always full. No lines that I noticed. Not sure why your trip was such a failure. From the wording of your comment it sounds like you were in need of handicap assistance from time to time. Harmony is a BIG ship and it can be overwhelming to get around. Maybe a smaller ship will be better next time. But I do hope you give Harmony another try. I'm sailing on her again in July 2020. I've sailed Navigator, nice ship. But I prefer the Oasis class. Again, it's all personal preference.

Sorry you had a bad experience, we were just on Harmony in January and it was awesome, lots of activities, sanitizers always stocked, dinner very easy in and out. We had traditional seating as we prefer that to making reservations separately for each night. We had s lovely time.

I'm on the Harmony right now, my 2nd time on this ship and I completely disagree! Food is great, more activities than you could possible do in even 2 weeks, and I don't know where YOU were hanging out, but I have NOT smelled any urine or musty smells... anywhere on the ship.
