Fun but the food could’ve been better. Everything else was OK
Embarkation

Very, very, fast. To do so, you have to take a picture of yourself, fill out the forms that they give you on your phone, and have your passport in your hand when you show up at the pier. From the time we walked into the building, to the time we were on the ship, 10-15 minutes at most. They have it down, period. It took longer to park the car and walk from the parking garage to the front entrance. And show up at your designated time. You will not get on before your time that’s shown on your ticket. Except maybe if your Diamond or higher, you might get away with being early.

Food and Dining

Royal has cut back on quality a lot. And that’s not a good thing. Carnival I think has passed them in the food area. Now I’m not talking about the speciality restaurants because we didn’t try any of them. Mainly because I can get a great steak at home rather than pay extra for something that I get anyway. The service was slow at times, specially if the wait staff new you didn’t have a show to get to. Johnny Rockets breakfast was also very slow and the food was warm at best. Never could get a hot, TOASTED, English Muffin, never! The Park Cafe was the best restaurant we tried. It’s hard to mess up a salad that you, yourself is telling someone to make right in front of you. The little sliders they make are pretty good. The cookies and the deserts were very good also.
Onboard Activities

Rock-climbing walls, fitness, center walking and running track, etc all good. One salt water and 3 Chlorinated Pools were great. The water slides were fun and exhilarating. Now the Ultimate Abyss dry slide was the best! You start on Deck 15 and you end up on deck 6 in about 32 seconds. All the activities we tried were great.
Entertainment

Make reservations and go to all the shows you can. The Aqua shows were some of the best I’ve seen. Don’t miss out on them.They are just as good as Las Vegas shows. Top notch entertainment.
Service and Staff

The staff are very friendly and courteous. The service staff in the main dining room are very nice, but can be slow at times.
Ship Quality

Beautiful ship and well laid out. The paper towels in all the public restrooms were full all the time, and restrooms were very clean. One nice feature were the auto door open buttons outside and inside the rest rooms. Use your knuckle to push switch open.
Cabin / Stateroom

Smaller than we had hoped for the price we paid. But very clean and functional. The chair at the deck needs to have a high back to it. It’s like your on a yellow John Deer Lawn Tractor seat with a low back that’s just pass your belt on your pants. You have to ask for ice if you want it, but you only have to ask once. Then they would bring it every day, morning and evening. The AC seems to stay on the cool side morning, noon, and night. And it wasn’t just my room, it was our friends cabin also.
Ship tip
Be ready for long lines at the anytime dining restaurant which is on level 3. And make reservations for anytime dining it’s stupid but you have too.
Getting off was just as fast as getting on. The only problem we had was our luggage with not off the ship when got to the ramp to go to customs. So they held us back until the luggage was checked by customs and that was only about 15 maybe 20 minutes. Everyone at the disembarkation end of our cruise were very nice and helpful. It also was a no hassle event. Royal Caribbean has it all down to a science.
