Good, short getaway for us. The Oasis class (Huge) ships aren't as good for less than 5 day cruises just because you don't have time to enjoy the many different areas of the ship. Coco Cay ( Royal Caribbean's private island) is finally worth getting off the ship for. The renovations are amazing!
Embarkation
4 out of 5
Port Canaveral terminal 1, a bit scattered and confusing, but quick processing for suite guests. Too many redundant checkpoints with tablet check ins.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Oasis class ships are some of the largest in the cruise industry and as such, there are multiple choices for eats. Park Cafe, Sorrento's and Cafe Promenade were our go to places for breakfast and lunch, and are included with your cruise fare. Windjammer is your typical cruise buffet, only huge.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
There are a lot of great activities for all age groups on these mega-ships. We enjoyed the restricted adults only deck and Jacuzzi areas. Watching the Flo-riders on the stern.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
We enjoyed the Ice skating show, musical Columbus and Aqua theater show. Royal Caribbean needs to either move their Jazz group to one of the Bars or make a full fledge bar out of the Jazz on 4 venue. This is true for all their ships that have this venue.
Jazz on 4
2 out of 5
The musicians that play here are usually pretty good. The problem is that Royal Caribbean hasn't figured out that Jazz is best experienced in a bar or club setting, not their current Jazz on 4 setting. One waiter taking drink orders and leaving for 10 minutes every time doesn't work.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Every encounter with ship personnel was friendly and outgoing.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
I was amazed at the size and design of the first Oasis class ship I cruised on some 5 or 6 years ago and still am with the newest. The crew do an amazing job keeping the common areas clean given the number of inconsiderate/ill-mannered passengers on these larger ships.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
What's not to like about a Loft suite and the amenities that go with it?
Ship tip
Take advantage of the included eating venues, Sorrento's, Park Cafe, Cafe Promenade and Boardwalk Dogs.
