In all honesty we are ruined for Royal now. It was our first cruise, and was on Harmony of the Seas. It was a capacity sailing but apart from a few elevator rides you would never know it. We can't wait to return. This Ship sailed so smoothly... we never touched a dramamine. We loved our servers. We ask you to do your research on what the servers and attendants actually make. It is not a joke. Their wages are insanely small. Please DO plan on tipping your room attendant and wait staff and please, please, be generous. Enjoy your holiday!!!

We arrived early and it was NOT a mistake. We had a super smooth embarkation and enjoyed lunch in the Wind Jammer while we waited for our room. Zero regrets about getting there early.

If you are a foodie you are on the right ship! Main Dining room was fabulous, we chose to eat "out" only once and that was at The Mexican restaurant on board Sabor. If you are hungry on this ship you are at fault because there is something for every cultural palette available!

We took in ALL the shows and they were great. Do not miss The Fine Line. They have two shows if the weather is good and we saw both. Sigh. They were amazing to us we appreciated the level of talent involved in all the acrobatics and dives! GO SEE "i skate" also! So much fun!

We enjoyed our ship attendant Jackie. She never failed to meet our needs. The wait staff in the dining room was MORE THAN ACCOMMODATING. Luis and Vishal were outstanding servers.

Our cabin was large enough for ourselves and our 25 year old son. We are used to smaller spaces so it was no issue for us at all to share. It was cleaned top to bottom twice a day and was nothing less than immaculate. The balcony was exactly what the Dr ordered for an extra restful space to recharge.
Ship tip
Be there early to port. Check in and wait so you can get on and enjoy right away. Pack less than you think you will need. Seriously. Also you can carry your own luggage off the ship but it must be from 6:30 - 7:40 the morning of disembarking. This is advisable if you have a long drive ahead of you or a super early flight. HAVE FUN! Try new things!
This is a place to just relax and sip on your Labadosie. Bring your own plastic straws though as they only use paper straws. Go to "town" to shop. You can do so with purpose by shopping from the vendors who partner with orphanages.
We LOVED Jamaica Mon! We did the tour of the Plantation. Our Driver aka Mr Cool and Lydia our guide were amazing, and knowledgeable. Their hearts seriously made the tour.
We.had a nice tour in Mexico. We enjoyed the Island Roots and Chocolate Traditions tour. We did NOT enjoy our shopping experience at Roma International Jewelry LLC. In short we were had. I suggest not shopping there for jewelry. The tour we went on was about Mayan culture, hiw to make chocolate, then we stopped at an apiary to see how Mexican Bees and learn about the benefits of honey. The final stop was a tequila tasting. There were a lot of happy folks at that stop.
we sailed on the oasis last year and year before. we are doing the harmony next April cant wait. This will be our 11th cruise we love RC. The only way to cruise.
