Review summary

Great ship, nice if you like spending time on board as opposed to a different stop every day (only 2-1/2 days off the ship on this cruise)

Embarkation

4 out of 5
The whole process through bag drop, security, check in to getting your cases later is pretty quick and seamless

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
If you dine on a "MyTime" basis, be prepared for the chaos in the main dining rooms. Expecially at breakfast. Of the speciality restaurants we tried Chops, Jamies, Sabor, the Solarium and Johhny Rockets. All good.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The shows I saw were Columbus in The Royal Theatre and Hideaway Heist in the Aquatheatre. My son (17) saw 1887, the skating show. Its hard not to be impressed by all of it. They also show newish movies outside in the aquatheatre and in the Royal.

Children's Programs

4 out of 5
My son met with other teens (he's 17) in the club. They were all very close throught the whole week and found plenty to do

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
There are plenty staff and everyone is very helpful, absolutely no problem with anyone

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship is spotlessly clean

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The cabin was of an adequate size for two adults. Didn't spend that much time in it for it to feel confined. The only small issue with this particular cabin was that the flume slides block the views of the big screens at the back of the ship if you wanted to sit on your balcony and watch any of the video shows. Its a minor but its best mentioned. Its also not exactly a central cabin so will be a walk away from certain things every day. Check the deck plans carefully

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

4 out of 5

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

4 out of 5
We did the airport / snorkelling boat tour here then sat at one of the port bars listening to music and having a few drinks.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

4 out of 5
You only get the morning in Puerto Rico so all of the tours leave very early. 7.30AM ish. The ship leaves at 1.30.

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
Labadee is like paradise. We did the Dragons Breath Zip line here, definitely worth a go if you like daring things. There are a number of great beaches here though, you can hire Jet Skis,go snorkelling, scuba diving etc

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
We elected to carry off our own cases early AM. Again the process is simple and there are ample taxis etc outside to take you to the airport etc
