Really smooth and we got to our rooms quicker than expected.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food and beverages were pretty good. Especially considering buffet style dining. However there were a few things I would have liked to see differently. Not all meals are created equal.... There were times when we were eating in the main dining room we wondered if anyone had tasted the food item before putting it on the menu. This was infrequent enough and with enough other good options you can let it roll off your shoulder, but if you're really in the mood for that evenings' salad, let's say, and it comes out with too much vinegar dressing it's a buzz kill. Second, the children's menu proportions are ridiculous. They are full on adult size meals. We had to tell our kids to stop ordering an appetizer and main course because often their appetizer would be a larger serving than an adults entree we were watching so much food being wasted 😫. Also the main dining room did not provide a lot in the way of healthy options for children. They did offer a fruit and vegetables cup but otherwise the appetizer and meal options were high carb, high fat, and too big for kids. Trust me these kids are spoiled with unlimited chocolate milk and lemonade I really wanted my daughter to have lean protein and vegetables options for mealtime. Service staff is excellent! They make you feel welcome and pleased with your dining experience every day. One last food/beverage complaint. It is incredibly challenging to find food or drinks when meal service isn't in operation. If you want a coffee, tea, lemonade, or soda when the restaurants are closed for next meal prep forget about it unless you're willing to pay for room service. This was especially annoying to me in the middle of the day when I needed a pick me up coffee or tummy soothing peppermint tea between meals. Also after 9pm you can only get pizza to eat. This was most confusing to me because guests are up all night dancing, drinking, at the casinos, etc and I imagine people really wanted something more than sub par pizza, I know I did. I started bringing my left over food into my stateroom so I'd have something to eat after 9pm. It worked ok, there are fridges in rooms but no way to heat anything up.

Onboard Activities

Great mix of activities for the entire family. It seemed the Teenage population really had a good time. There seemed to be a lot of freedoms and activities for them.

Entertainment

Constant options. Not enough time in a day to do it all 😁

Children's Programs

Our kids had so much fun with these! Thank you for taking good care of our kids!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We really felt like we were spoiled with the staff. I was constantly amazed how happy and helpful all service staff was. We really felt like we bonded with them, we felt like part of their family by the time the week was over. The only time we were disappointed was with the picture staff. The first man who took our pictures, despite us asking for do overs because we know kids were making faces, he seemed just ready to be done with our group. This was after we watched him spend ten minutes with the family before making sure they looked perfect, he just didn't seem to have the patience for our 3 young kids and out wheelchair bound grandmother. We decided to go to another staff member, who was better, but again she seemed to be hurrying us out of the photography area. I feel like I left with one picture I liked from that whole experience and they charge a ridiculous amount of money for digital copies.

Ship Quality

I loved feeling like I could be anywhere other than a ship sometimes. The garden and boardwalk are amazing! Aside from being displayed disoriented because it's such a big ship it is incredible.

Cabin / Stateroom

First thing we noticed upon entering our room were some smudges on mirrors and something drippy looking on the bathroom door. I'm sure had we pointed it out our room attendant would have taken care of it. Good rooms otherwise. Surprising amount of storage.

Beautiful! Wish there day here had been longer, this was the shortest port day and i was looking forward to exploring here most. Definitely go see Fort Cristobal.

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

The island and beaches were beautiful! My sister and I felt like we were being accosted by the locals trying to sell their goods. I've traveling to Caribbean islands before and am more familiar with their "sales tactics" but we had a could men trying to split my sister and I apart... Super creepy! This is a private beach owned by Royal Caribbean so I was hoping the shopping there would be less intense but it was the scariest shopping trip I've ever experienced from a cruise.
