Review summary

Best cruise ever. This one will be hard to beat, but we always try. We'll see what ships RC has in our future.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Well organized with extremely quick moving line. The line was very long, but the staff kept things moving.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We enjoyed both the Windjammer Marketplace and the Main Dining rooms. I was surprised to have gotten a complimentary unlimited fountain drinks cup with my room. Very useful benefit. Also, the free dining at Johnny Rockets was also much appreciated.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Flowrider took the prize as our most fun activity. Something we have back home, but for a price on top of our waterpark entry. Nice that it was a free activity on Harmony.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We saw 1887, Columbus's brother and an ice skating show. All were very impressive productions for the limited space. Very ingenious stage props for the Columbus show.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff on cruise ships are always hard working people if you ask me. At least that's what I've experienced so far. I was not surprised by the excellent service provided and I know these staff members do work extremely hard. I saw our maid in the hallway one morning at 4am. At 6pm that same evening she was still working. It's not like she took part of the day off then came back because I saw her working in the middle of the day also.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very well kept. I'd always see works in the wee hours of the morning scrubbing the decks getting ready for yet another day. Awesome.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Nice to see something other than an ocean from my ship balcony. We also had a nice view of the Aqua Theater, so it made for some nice evening shows with our own private balcony seating. Even included hot chocolate and snacks (from Windjammers).

Ship tip

I don't think there's anything that can be done about this right now, but it's a technology idea. With ships getting bigger and bigger, the walk from one end of the ship to the other can be a hike. People movers would be nice. I'm not sure what kind, but it would be nice.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

5 out of 5
Embark and disembarking was well handled by the staff. For so many passengers having to share the same exit, that was impressive.

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

3 out of 5
I liked the feel of the island, but the activities were a little too expensive for our budget. We did a little window shopping and went straight back to the ship.

Falmouth, Jamaica

5 out of 5
We really enjoyed the waterpark adventure. The zipline ride and the river tubing was fun. My son really enjoyed this port.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
We did the Chichenitza tour to the Mayan pyramids and that was very interesting. Lots of history and our guide on the bus was very good with the information he provided and with the clarity he stressed important points, like repeating pickup locations and meeting times.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Great job. See above comment.
