Review summary

Such a beautiful ship, be sure to explore it all.

Embarkation

The embarkation process was smooth and quick. I couldn't imagine a better start to our trip. It took approximately 10-15 minutes from the curb to the ship. Just make sure you have your passport and seapasses in hand.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We dined mainly in the Windjammer. There were many options. I am vegetarian and it was easy to find food. With that said, I was not too picky with the preparation. Johnny Rockets has a good veggie burger. We decided to opt out of the Main Dining due to timing. We were often busy during that time.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We did the 4 slides onboard. There were three waterslides and one dry one. They were enjoyable. Even though the ship was at full capacity due to spring break, there was enough room for everyone to spread out. There are three pools. The only issue was the people hogging beach chairs by placing towels on them when they were not there. RC should enforce it. The fitness center had what we needed. There are many classes that you can sign up for. Classes range from 12 to 20 per class.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We made it to all the shows, I enjoyed the Ice Skating Shows the most. The productions are well designed and executed.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. They work for long months without breaks and still haven't managed to hurt anyone. I don't see how everyone was so patient.

Ship Quality

The staff was always cleaning and the ship was very clean. I

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was perfect for the two of us. It is a large inside cabin and located at the corner, thus there was no neighbor to one side. People walking in the halls were not an issue. It remained quiet. We don't stay in our room unless we were sleeping or changing. It was clean and has a couch. The beds are very comfortable which makes it hard to leave when I had a busy day. There is two closets with plenty of space inside. We didn't use the fridge provided. If you need more storage, use the space under the bed. Tedi did great keeping our room clean.

Ship tip

Take naps and breaks. There is a lot to do but there are activities that repeat. Highlight your compass. And treat the seapass card as gold, you need it everywhere you go. The wowbands made our lives easy.

Ports of call

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

4 out of 5
This is a nice island and currently recovering. It is heavily catered to tourist. I recommend going outside of the Port. We visited the Emerald beach. It was turquoise and clean. We spent most of our time on a fishing excursion.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

5 out of 5
Love how city centered it was. I only wished we were there longer. There is so much to explore. We rode ATVs in the rainforest here.

Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)

3 out of 5
This port was created by RCL and gated from the rest of Haiti. It had amenities similar to the ship with a beach. There was a lack of culture. There was a Haitian group of people who were aggressively trying to sell souvenirs. Just understand they will overshoot their price but you can haggle down.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Pack only what you need. We managed to pack only one checked bag together and we were able to carry it off the ship without assistance in 15 minutes total.
