Review summary

The entertainment was top-notch--stage shows, two different aqua shows, ice shows, lounge & pub entertainment--all professional and quality shows.

The food was amazing--best I've ever had on any ship. Dining room waiters and all food service people were very pleasant and attentive.

Lines at guest services appeared long, but when I got into the line, Guest Service representatives who were not behind the counter were fielding questions and it was only a matter of minutes before I was on my way.

The ship floor plans were very easy to follow. The size of the ship was simply not a problem.  It was a bonus!

Specialty restaurants were excellent but VERY expensive.  Wanted to try Wonderland but it was $50 more per person.

It seemed like the noise in our room overlooking Central Park was going to bother me--it was coming from the pool band four decks up.  But either I got used to it, or it was just loud the first two days because it really was not a problem.  I never slept better.

Cabin was spacious for a cruise ship. Lots of storage. FYI--put your luggage under the bed. Bed was incredibly comfortable. Bathroom was lovely and shower not cramped. Balcony overlooking Central Park seemed noisy at first but it did not interfere with sleep. Our attendant was fantastic!!!! There for us always. I wish I were rich so I could more lavishly tip!

Ship tip

There are many places where you can eat buffet style for all three meals without paying extra money. Try the Park Cafe or the Solarium Bistro, for example. Because of those kinds of places on ship, the main buffet was not all that crowded.
