Review summary
Overall this ship was great, and the staff did a very nice job. There are many activities to do on-board, and they had some of the best shows we have seen on any cruise (this was our 9th cruise, 7 which have been on Royal Caribbean). The food in the main dining room and Windjammer was better than most ships, and the Chops Grille was very good. The service was mostly very good, though we did have a few less than great experiences due to the large number of guest on the ship. Two times at the bar, the bar tenders couldn't (or didn't want to) keep track of the next customer to be served. And our first couple of evenings in the main dining room, the waiters and waitresses were very overwhelmed. I felt these issues were more a problem with Royal Caribbean's staffing and space allocation because their employees were working very hard. Our stateroom was a Boardwalk Balcony room. This room was very noisy during the Aqua Theatre shows the first few nights. They provide several extra perks for the guest in these rooms which was a nice gesture. I believe RC will continue to read their customer reviews and make adjustments in the future.
