I sailed on that ship in 2015. It was old then. You're right. They need to retire it.

For your first cruise, you should have done some research before booking. That's the problem with some of you newbies you book for convenience or price without really thinking to see if the ship or itinerary fits! Sorry, this cruise wasn't for you!

Maybe Six Flags would be a better fit.

Experienced cruisers understand that there is a big difference between cruise companies and cruise ships. Carnival is no Holland America, and Grandeur of the Seas is no Wonder of the Seas. All have their places, but neophyte cruisers are advised to do their research and choose the cruise line and ship that provides their ideal vacation. Hope your next choice meets your expectations.

As a YOUNGER PERSON who cruised this ship 4 times already, I completely disagree. Maybe this class of ship isn't right for you, which is fine, but next time, please do your research.

Thanks for the review. We love a smaller ship and just relaxing on deck without an amusement or waterpark (and we aren’t 90).
