Review summary

The ship is an old lady, if you take this in to consideration the overall experience is ok. The crew really was fantastic. They did a good job entertaining and giving us all a great cruise. The restaurants were ok. Especially breakfast early in the morning in windjammer is a pleasant experience.

Cabin / Stateroom

Stateroom attendant did a great job. Still the ship is old, could really need an overall upgrade. Our hallway often smelled of sewer. They had problems with plumbing and toilets. There was a lot of metal work done on tanks in the hull. This sound spreads throughout all the cabins on our floor.

The 'Old Lady' will be leaving the RC Fleet in Mar. 2021. I will miss her. Love the Grandeur.

Great ship, but maybe a bit dated by today's standards.

Glad you enjoyed it. I always smile when someone says a 24 year old cruise ship is old. They are designed to last multiple decades and the first ships I cruised on in the 80s and early 90s were 40 years old.

So happy that you enjoyed your cruise even though the ship has some age!
