Review summary

The best thing about cruising on Grandeur it is close to our home. I hope some of the crew switches to Enchantment if the seas when it comes here.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We think Baltimore is one of the best cruise ports in the USA.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We thought they were fine. However we do miss some of the events, like Chocolate Night.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Due to my age and condition, I only did the jacuzzi and Solarium pool.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The musicians and performers were pretty good.

Children's Programs

No children with us.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All of the crew were very friendly and performed their jobs very well.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
I happen to prefer the smaller ships, you get to know some of the crew. Housekeeping kept everything clean and sanitary.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Our cabin was kept very clean, Oliver did a good job. The size is adequate, not too large. However the placement of mirrors and the bed gave the illusion of a larger cabin.

Ship tip

Go to the Windjammer in the morning. Sheriff Robert and Maivlyn kept coffee full and hot. They helped make the cruise experience good.

This is one of my favorites, friendly merchants. We never did an excursion this trip.

Castries, St. Lucia

5 out of 5
I walked off the ship, but never took an excursion.

Bridgetown, Barbados

4 out of 5
I walked off the ship, but never took an excursion.

Basseterre, St. Kitts Did not visit port

Windy weather when we were there. The Captain said it was not safe to dock there. Shortly afterwards it was announced the terminal was closed by the island. Our Captain did what was safe for us.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Baltimore is very easy and not very stressful to disembark.
