Overall we enjoyed this cruise. We were able to kick back and enjoy doing nothing. The ports of call were nice and we had decent excursions. The ship and crew did not disappoint and it’s really kind of sad that Grandeur of the Seas only has another year or so left with Royal Caribbean
.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Love going out of the Port of Baltimore, easy to get on the ship no hassles crowds were handled well. Great idea to move the muster call indoors to the various locations around the ship instead of out in the freezing cold.

Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We decided to skip the main dining room and opted for a 3 meal specialty package and Wind Jammer. The food in the Jammer was as expected with a few surprises, and we did two nights at Chops and the final at Giovannis. Food was delicious at both.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
We did not participate in any of the onboard activities
Entertainment
3 out of 5
Several decent comics, the music was very good by both groups
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
One reason we like the Grandeur has to be the crew. Our stateroom attendant couldn’t have taken better care of us. DeQueen was excellent! We spent most of our evenings listening to music and watching the dancing in the Centrum. Debbie from the South Pacific Lounge took good care of us kudos to her! Everyone was friendly and helpful.
Ship Quality

Although an older ship the Grandeur was clean and well maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom

Our room was always clean and for the two of us spacious. We had plenty of storage and no issues with comfort.
Ship tip
Grandeur of the Seas is a older smaller ship which we like, but there are not a ton of activities for kids and this ship seems to cater to older slower adults. Patience with scooters and walkers is a must on this ship. Take a couple of books and relax during sea days.
St Maarten was beautiful, we did the ATV tour which took us on the streets of the island on both sides. My only disappointment was i did not get to experience planes landing during our stop at Maho beach.
This was out 3rd time to St Lucia, beautiful island the Pitons are always a site to behold. Our island tour took us to the waterfalls and sulfur pits. We did not indulge in the mud bath!
When we returned to Baltimore we were told originally we would be using the gangway to exit the ship. Somewhere along the way because of potentially icy conditions this was changed and not communicated with those of us doing self departure. Made getting off the ship more of a hassle than it needed to be and left a bad impression on a otherwise good cruise.
