Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was delicious in the Main Dining Room (Gatsby), The Park Cafe. and the Windjammer Buffet.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The pool in the Solarium was refreshing. I enjoyed playing trivia, and attending Game Shows. The movies were current.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
All of the Performers were fantastic!

Children's Programs

I did not travel with children, and there were very few on board.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Jimson our Room Steward, Ronald our Waiter, and Mark, his Assistant were wonderful! They quickly learned our tastes and preferences and were able to personalize service. The entire Staff and Crew were positive, efficient, and professional, yet personable. They all made our voyage perfect!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
This having been my 5th Grandeur of the Seas cruise, she is beginning to feel like my 2nd home. Every part of the ship was immaculate! The layout of the ship is great. For Newbies, maps and electronic guides are available at elevators.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
This cabin was laid out slightly differently than the other interiors I have had in the past. The entry door is between the foot of the beds, and the bath, as opposed to being next to the closet and bath, but this made very little difference. Although there were 2 of us, this room can actually sleep 4, when the bunks are used.. This room was very quiet. But it was quite handy to get to the elevators. Good location on the ship!

Ship tip

If you want on board activities like flow-riders and zip lines, this may not be the ship for you. But if you want to relax, enjoy remarkable service, have the Spa, Casino, pools, and fine food available to you, then this is the Ship for You.

Ports of call

Baltimore, Maryland

Baltimore Port is a favorite to many! Everyone is efficient and friendly. We were dropped off, luggage was taken at the car, The terminal entrance is very close and there was no long line. Have your documents and sea pass ready. Perfect!

Frederiksted, St. Croix, U.S.V.I.

We just shopped right off the pier. Lots of warm greetings!

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

St. Maarten is beautiful. We took the "Sights, shopping, and sand" excursion, and it was great!

Castries, St. Lucia

We took the "Scenic Drive and Batik Creations". I wasn't able to see the demonstration, due to my using a rollator, but I had a great shopping experience!

Bridgetown, Barbados

We took the "Coast to Coast" tour, and loved it!

Basseterre, St. Kitts

We went to the Marriott for a "Resort for a Day". It was wonderful! This was my first Resort visit, and I will consider this type of activity in the future!
