Embarkation

4 out of 5
Being that it was i our first cruise we didn’t know what to expect. But it was a controlled chaos and we did board late because the ship was late returning to port because it needed to respond to an emergency on their way back. A small craft ran out of gas and they were the closest ship to respond.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We loved the food, my son was with us (18 months) and he even ate everything. We loved the staff at Chops, first when we made the reservation they told us to bring our son even after we said we might not. The night of dinner at Chops our son was super fussy because he was teething. My wife and I kept switching out to take my son to the lobby and keep him happy. Each time they would take our food to the kitchen table to keep it warm. The staff at one point took our son to play with him while we ate! They were amazing and the food was great!

The small children area was not a place my son likes at all. He cried the whole time he was with them. BUT, the staff was great and tried really hard to make my son happy.

Service and Staff

The staff on this ship was one of the reasons we only look at RC cruises. So friendly and loved playing with our kids. My son loves vacuums and when ever he saw they crew cleaning he would run up to clean with them. They smiled and let him clean the carpets. My son also loved the ladies from the shops on the ship. We had to go back very very often so he could flirt with them.

Cabin / Stateroom

We called in to book our room and the agent we spoke to found this room for us. The room wouldn’t have fit the normal search we were looking at so we wouldn’t have found it if we had not called in. It had a huge window that our son loved to sit in at watch the outside world. It was so big that he would sit and eat his breakfast in the window each morning. It wasn’t too loud but because of all the events out side our door it could get a bit loud.
