Baltimore departures/arrivals in November can be dicey. This one was cold for 3 days of the cruise going out and coming in. The weather in Nassau & Coco Cay (2 days) was perfect. Balance of the 8 day trip (if you want to call "arrival day" a day of the cruise, that is) was overcast & rain. But hey, that's just part of the deal, right?

Painless
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Pay as you go bar tab, pricing was inconsistent, volume of drink was inconsistent
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Nice variety, the art show felt "stacked" with bidders
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Magician was magnificent
Children's Programs
1 out of 5
No kids, unrated
Service and Staff
3 out of 5
With the exception of our consistent wait staff (dine anytime), the overall impression is that the staff "tried too hard", it wasn't as easy going, fun loving as a Carnival crew.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Cigarette smoke seemed to be everywhere
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
The head smelled of sewage the first couple of days, when it didn't go away, we called engineering. They fixed it. No other issues.
Ship tip
The casino and casino bar has terrible smoke eaters
