Review summary

I’ll never take another 12 night cruise on the Grandparents of the Seas. It was depressing. The Positive Vibration Band rarely played reggae/Caribbean music and when it was time to play, they started late and finished on time. Being on that pool deck with the saddle bags and leathery skin force me to increase my drinking. John Blair, think of some new material, same stuff from 2016.

3 out of 5
Why have a formal night when some don’t abide by the dress code? The Windjammer has better options for food.

Cruise director needs to update the entertainment, no more Neil Diamond tributes.

Jerryinky, the ship was fine, smaller and more personable than the larger ships. I was just hoping for a more diverse age group (30-50) than what I experienced on this cruise.

My boyfriend and I will be sailing on the "grandparents of the sea" for the first time in November. We will both be 27. We're looking forward to the older crowd since that means it'll be more relaxing! I hope we get to meet and chat with the older crowd! Lots of knowledge and experiences reside in those folks and we could certainly gain from it all while vacationing.

Iam a grandparent and I am booked on Grandeur of the seas in June and I also traveled on this ship 2 years ago and I had a fabulous time the first time. The BEST part about this ship is that it doesn’t have wild young adults who show no respect and carry on all hours of the night. If that is your intention Please find another ship. I drink and swim and spend lots of fun times on this ship. The port of calls are fantastic as well . Grown-ups like to have fun too!!!

Should read, how old they are. Autocorrect!

Why do you care how of they are? Have your own good time. Seniors are usually quiet and polite, unlike some reviews. Attitude is everything!

See you have been on this ship twice must not have too bad. Haven't been on Grandeur hope it's not that bad? We prefer Carnival but waited to late all booked up. Have been on Enchantment was very rocky very disappointed but ports we visited were nice.

Wow too bad for you... we like the Grandeur for it’s smaller size and relaxed atmosphere.
