Review summary

This was our 10 year Anniversary Cruise, and our first cruise ever! We enjoyed the ship, the crew, the excursions, and the people. I would definitely sail on this ship again!!!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Very easy, and very fast. Lots of workers giving directions at the port.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The main dining room was exceptional. The food was all excellent. There was always a great array of options for everyone. We did not do any specialty restaurants. The Windjammer Buffet was good. Always had a great choice of food geared toward everyone on the ship.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We enjoyed the Solarium pool and hot tubs. The air temp outside was too cold for me when we wanted to swim. Otherwise, the outdoor pool looked just as inviting.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. The performances on this cruise were out of this world!!! So many different shows, it would be hard not to find something that interests you.

Children's Programs

We did not have children with us on this cruise.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our waiter Vincent and Assistant Manoj from the main dining room, paid close attention to details and were always checking if we needed anything. Our room steward “Jay” was quiet but kept our room well. Always had our ice bucket filled with ice, towel animals, and kept our room looking fresh.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The layout and design made the ship easy to navigate. The interactive maps on each floor helped with that too. All the common areas were always very clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our cabin was very comfortable! The size was what we expected, but we really weren’t there much and when we were, we were sleeping or getting ready for something. It was a very clean cabin. For the age of the ship, I thought the cabin looked rather new.

Ship tip

Lay back and enjoy! Enjoy the attention to detail and the service from the crew.

Ports of call

Baltimore, Maryland

5 out of 5
Embark and disembarked only.

Charleston, South Carolina

5 out of 5
We did the Pirates and Patriots walking tour. Loved it!!! Very clean town and lots of history and beautiful buildings here.

Port Canaveral, Florida

4 out of 5
Port was nice. We did the Kennedy Space Center bus transport. We toured on our own. The space center was great! Lots to see and do. I give this port a 4, only because it doesn’t seem like there is much to do other than the space center.

Miami, Florida

5 out of 5
Loved the port! Very easy off and on. We went to South beach. I would absolutely do it again!

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
We did a bus tour through Nassau. Since it was our first time there, it was perfect. I think next time we would venture out to see the things we wanted on our own. We did not do a beach here. Wish we would have though. The town was not as bad as I have read. I was expecting far worse. We ventured out at night and didn’t feel unsafe. We did stay near the port. The straw market is just people trying to sell their goods. A no thank you and keep walking was fine.

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island) Did not visit port

Water and winds did not cooperate. Captain erred on the side of caution. Getting on a tender with 4-6 foot waves is not my idea of a good time anyway.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Our time to disembark was 9:15-9:30. We were in our car leaving port at 8:54. It went so smooth, we were able to get off the ship earlier.
