Review summary

Favorite part was the food. Worst part was that we were NOT taken to Bermuda but to Bayonne, NJ , of all places. Very disappointing. The cruise line should have cancelled this cruise prior to departing due to hurricanes, rather than take us to some awful place.

Ship tip

Pack some winter clothes because you never know where they may take you. Think twice about bringing bottles of wine because they will not deliver the luggage if it contains a bottle, even though it is allowed.

The hurricane did not follow what the models predicted at the last minute. Sorry for the rough seas, but that can happen during hurricane season.

Been cancelled at the last minute on a cruise. Its no picnic trying to rearrange travel plans when a entire ship full of people are trying to do the same.

Then I would recommend you don't book a cruise in Sept. or Oct. during hurricaine season because a hurricaine may occur like it did. I don't understand how you can blame the cruise line on the weather.

I was on that cruise. Royal Caribbean took very good care of us. No complaints (other than needing new beds)whatsoever!

So, you get a 100% refund/credit AND in essence, a FREE Cruise to the NYC Area and you still complain. I guess Royal Caribbean should've worked harder to control the weather. Basically what your saying, put everybody's lives in danger so long as we get to Bermuda. When you book at the height of Hurricane Season, this is the chance you take.

Bayonne is a great port to get on the ship going to Bermuda.
