Review summary

Great sunsets and sunrises from balcony between trips to the pool and bar! Disappointed we couldn't moor in Grand Cayman, but the crew really hustled to keep us entertained. Weather prevented a lot of our shore excursions but we met some great, strange and interesting shipmates along the way. The Chef's Dinner will be a must for all our future cruises...outstanding food matched to great wines matched to or facilitated great conversations with new friends. WiFi is way too expensive for the quality of the signal and availability of service. Avoid the drink packages until you can gauge the pace of your consumption. The soda package may be a good deal if you can locate the few (1) soda machine! Recent release movies were a pleasant surprize.

Our servers Kirk and Stanislav for dinner did everything one could expect to make our meals an experience we'll always remember, Breakfast in the Main dining room was ably managed by Owen. Our Stateroom attendant, Collins, was always available for our needs and ICE. Our experience with the crew was nothing short of amazing. Thanks for a great if truncated voyage!

Collins, our room attendant was awesome. An improvement should be made for 120 volt outlets needed next to the bed for phone charging . More hangers would be nice too.

Ship tip

Locate the soda machine and memorize the shortest path because if you get the soda drink package you'll be going there often.

Owen in the buffet sounds familiar if he is an officer for the restaurant dept. We had Peter as the officer for the restaurant dept in the buffet. All were very friendly and nice.

We took that ship last yr and had a great time. The crew were fantastic. I had the soda package and it was for one person and hubby didn't have to get it. The soda machine is in the buffet and on deck 6. I don't recall if there were any where else, but did get my sodas at the bars. Our CD was Dan Dan and Activities Manager was Andre. Andre had a lot of spunk and so did Dan. This was our first cruise with Royal and going on the Navigator April 2 and can't wait.
