Review summary

Even though our itinerary got changed and we didn't get the vacation we booked. The crew of the ship were very pleasant, there was a lot of great shows and activities on the ship. We were disappointed and feel that as a company Royal Caribbean should have done more for changing our ports out of the four islands we planned we only got to go to one that was original, and I'm sure we went there because they own it. Determined to not let this ruine our vacation we still had a great time.

First time we have opted for an inside room, before we have always had a balcony . We will not make this mistake again, even though the size of room was fine the amount of noise was unexpected , the bed was very uncomfortable, if we take another cruise it will be a balcony on a much higher level. The people next to us woke us every night fighting, yelling and hitting the wall, we never had any of this on the other ships we have been on.

Ship tip

Big Mac whom did the bingo was great, always entertaining.

The itinerary was changed to avoid the storms. I could care less where the ship takes us . We just enjoy being on the ship not cooking, not making the bed, being waited on hand & foot, etc. A-h-h-h, the life of a cruiser!⚓️😎

Cruise lines will change ports depending on weather.  If rough sea's it may not be safe to port in some areas so the captain will take the ship in a direction of better weather for the safety of the guest and crew (Safety is #1 of the cruise lines)   I'd rather change or miss a port and live to tell of it  :-)

I have ported in Mexico a day after a storm and saw the destruction,  I was glad not to have been then during the storm.  Roofs torn off,  flooded store fronts,  trees uprooted beaches a mess.... would not have been a fun day.

I hope your next cruise is better,  you may think of not booking in storm season.......that could be the reason for such a good price.
