Review summary

Ice cream machine was broken more than it was  - operative. No more stewed prunes. No decaffeinated tea. I don't expect to cruise again. Too much of a problem with staff. English is my first language. You asked for whipped cream and you get whipped butter .

Ship tip

I wanted shaved almonds for grits. They had shaved almonds that salad bar. But they can never find almonds for breakfast. If you want a BLT for lunch to get your bacon in the morning and take it at lunch. Brown sugar in the morning and they couldn't find any. Although you know they have some.

I guess it's all in how you look at things. I find it entertaining & charming when the staff doesn't understand me & maybe makes a mistake. We also find out where they are from & ask them questions about their country & family. We get to know them & in most cases look forward to seeing them every day. There's usually 2 ice cream machines--one on either side of the ship.

If you had the drinking pkg. maybe that's why they didn't understand your English one to many
