Review summary

The cruise was a nightmare from the beginning. Waited in line for 2 1/2 hours to embark. Then we had to wait in the hallway for another hour before we could go to our room. We were there 15 min. No refrigerator and no ice bucket or water pitcher in the rooms. First time we didn't have that pleasure either.  we had to go to our  muster drill outside in the cold.we were back in our room about 6:00. 4 hours of moving and standing. The staff did nothing to make us feel welcome. So we decided to get the drink package which was anther set back. The bartender acted like we were bothering him.  After we got that he walks away from us.We had to ask about 3 or 4 times before we got our first drink. We kept asking for another one to no avail.finally my husband got his drink but not me.By then it's 8:00 and time for dinner. The dining staff was great all week.  The only pleasure the whole 10 days. We were either looking up a bar waiter or jumping up to get our own. People were always savings seats every where and the staff  never enforced the no saving seats policy. You would see seats saved for over an hour. So after a bad 10 days getting off the ship was horrible. We were told to be at our station at 9:00 to disembark, so we got up early , ate , and went to our station to only wait for another 1 1/2 hours to get off the  ship, Wake up Grandeau of the seas. There are too many other ships to cruise on to be treated like this.
