Review summary
This was our first cruise back since 2019. We noticed a lot of cutbacks but also enjoyed the new Plus package. Our balcony room B330 was always clean & looked after, plenty of room . We took magnetic clips for the walls for our paperwork. Worked brilliantly! We ate outside for breakfast & lunch as it was a healthier choice with so many people wanting to spread their coughs & colds. Evening dining was just us two in Boticellis and we enjoyed that. The food was delicious! The shows were great, but didn’t join anything else this trip. ( except for 1 wine tasting session) Will probably do more in our September cruise as it’s longer. The Grand was a lovely ship and we didn’t feel it was old or needed upkeep except probably the rust outside, but that’s minor. The tendering was smooth and worked well. Can’t find anything negative about the cruise, we used it as a step back into it, and to see the changes. We will prepare a few things more for our September cruise which was a good thing, and very much looking forward to that. If anything, the Medallion net dropped out a lot, and you kept having to log in, but it didn’t deter from anything really. I would recommend a Plus package if you’re able too, as it covers so much and you’re not expecting any surprises at the end. Our only costs were laundry and a Wine tasting session which I would avoid next time as it was poorly organised and overpriced. Otherwise we were spoilt, and enjoyed the benefits of the package in full 😁Happy sailing!!🚢Embarkation
