Review summary

There were 20 of us on this cruise. It was nice to have extra sea days because we left from SF. It was cool to sail under the Golden Gate Bridge. The ship is clean and did not seemed worn. The staff was great and the cruise director and his staff was probably the best that I have encountered on any cruises. We had traditional dining and early seating. I would definite cruise Alaska again

We had stayed in SF for a few days before and we arrived at the port at about 12 noon. We took an Uber and it was very easy. No waiting at all. We were on the boat in about 20 minutes.

Food and Dining

We had the drink package because of the sip and sail promotion. The drinks were good and not watered down. The coffee at the international cafe was the best. The food in the main dining room was okay. I wish there was more variety.

We had traditional dining and early seating. We had three tables among us and out waiters Rommel and Jonelle were great.

Onboard Activities

Lots of activities to do during the day. The cruise directors were hilariuos especially Matt, Theo and Kat. The pools are heated and the fitness centers were crowded only on the first two days. The classes were also not full. The fitness instructors were Wesley and Tatiana both very good.

The photographers were very helpful and nice. The only problem was there was some confusion about the inclusive photo package but the staff was very helpful.

Entertainment

The magician was the best. The comedian was good and we had seen him before on other ships. The danvers and princess were superb as usual.

Even thought it was cold, the venue was nice and they did provide blankets.

We did a helicopter ride to the Glacier. Definitely a must. We also did the Visitor center but some of the hike trails were flooded. The foodie tour was also good.

Our friends who take anytime tend to switch to the second seating...it seems that anytime works best if you wish to dine during off hours or if you are willing to share...otherwise expect to wait...just like any nice restaurant
