Ship tip

The casino does not give free drinks if you gamble in their casino (first I've seen this after 10 cruises on other cruiselines) and the food was subpar unless you spend the extra money to dine in their specialty restaurants.

jtc1313 I am using my Carnival Barclay card rewards points to purchase OBC for our upcoming Princess cruise

Also Cunard =💸💸💸😢

I can understand that

To Romantikcruiser's point about Carnival Corp owning all these lines and running them separate entities; they all have different loyalty programs that do not cross between the lines. For example my VIFP points on Carnival meant nothing on Princess (I wish they did because if so I would be Platinum on Princess). Does anyone know if Carnival is looking at this sort of thing? I have thought about trying both Cunard and HAM but don't really want to start over a third time.

I was surprised as well, but until I have a less than stellar experience I will stay with Princess.

Did you have a bad experience? I’ve had wonderful cruises on both Princess and Carnival.

The carnival corporation owns the lines but that is for revenue...the individual lines run themselves
