The food in the Botticelli Dining Room was very good. We had a very good waitress, waiter and Head Waiter. Service was great! The seafood was never over cooked, the meat was tender and portions were appropriate.
My husband is diabetic and the Sugar Free Desserts were Wonderful!!

Pools were clean. Movies under the stars was popular.

The entertainment was very good. The British Invasion stage show was great. The Magician was Amazing! The two comedians were very funny. We even watched some of the ‘game shows’ and they were fun to watch.

The waitress in our Dining Room, the bartenders at Crooner, and our room steward were so helpful, kind and seemed happy with their jobs. They even remembered all of our names.

I loved the new bed and bed linens! The new carpeting, drapes and upholstery have really spruced the ship up.

Ship tip
BEWARE of all the women driving those motorized chairs!!!!! They’ll mow you down, always push to the front and some don’t even pay attention to people around them.
A WOMAN RAN OVER MY FOOT and it caused really BAD PAINFUL bruising and swelling. I had to hobble around the rest of the cruise, canceled our excursions and could only wear 2pr of my shoes. IT WAS TERRIBLE!
Part of the excitement of cruising is planning activities ashore. You should have fun planning yours (at least your husband will). Hope you enjoy the Grand again, and the Northern Coast.
If your going North... I'm assuming Alaska. There is a microbrewery in Juneau. Both my Mom and my little brother enjoyed the tour. I did as well but I've never liked the taste of beer, so the tasting session was a bit boring to me.
