april '06 sailing on grand princess with 4 adults and 3 kids(9y./6y./3y.) was best cruise ever. all kids had fun at the fun zone and swimming pools. great beaches and other activity on ports was great with kids. flexible dining choices are wonderful. we ate at the buffet for dinner most of the time and the choices/food was good, that we didn't feel like we were missing out by not going to traditional dining. the only con was that we had to pay extra for the juice as my kids are not soda drinkers. otherwise, everyone had lots of fun.

excellent food in buffet.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
usual cruise entertainment. comedians are the best. movies under the stars is great for all ages.

Children's Programs

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
great hardworking staff overall. cabin steward skimps on cleaning but tries hard anyway. i think we've been spoiled by other cabin stewards on previous cruises.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
great fun ship! fun zone location was on one of the upper decks and had a sunny/inviting layout for kids. we spent most our time in the pools/movies under the stars. very clean ship overall. we like to take the stairs instead of elevators but it seems like they got rid of the stairs whenever there are elevators!
