Review summary

Nice ship. Rooms were bigger then we thought. We had a good oceanview room. Ship was nicely kept. Entertainment was pretty good. Ports were good. Wished we had more time in Ketchikan, AK. I thought the shore excursions through princess was a little on the high side price wise for what you got. The trip through Tracy Arm was amazing!

Stick to the dinning room dinning for all meals. Good food and staff. Buffet was pretty good. The specialty restaurant Sabatini's was good until the main course came. The main course, lobster tails was so salty it was unbearable. When we made staff aware, the service was poor from then on. Their attitude changed and service was non-existent. Disappointing especially after paying an extra $20 per person for a meal.

Staff was great until the last night of the cruise. Housekeeping was excellent. Lack of care showed on the last night as there were food left about on the dining room and staff was busy cleaning up rather than concentrating on service.

The Mendenhall Glacier. Take the transportation to the glacier just off the port. That way you are not dependent on the strict time frame through the Princess shore excursion. Also a lot cheaper.

The shops near the creek. Pretty scenic and not as commercialized like the other two ports.

The inner harbor area is nice. Make sure you visit the Butchart Gardens. Very nice.
