Review summary

I have been on princess and msc and had been planning celebrity aquaclass .. but now reconsidering celebrity. Food was not good on ship and nonalcoholic beverages were very sweet (no smoothies or creamy mocktails) Although I was not happy with food on msc ... the spa package made up for the subpar food with msc. I do not cruise to binge ... I just want good food at my meals; however waitstaff was very good and encouraged us to let rc know we were disappointed with food First night 3 of 4 of us ordered prime rib and not happy 4th ordered strip steak and seemed ok with it 2nd night I ordered the upgrade to filet mignon and ended up eating kids spaghetti marinara instead 3rd night I ordered grilled chicken breast and te most of it .... although it did not look appetizing it wasn't bad

Food was disappointing including at main dining room and even when I did filet mignon upgrade. Selection at buffet was slim compared to other cruises and inferior quality

I was upgraded to a promenade view interior cabin 7311 ... layout was a little off but overall good cabin for solo traveller or couple

Ship tip

Although I probably will not book rc again and now maybe not celebrity we still enjoyed our cruise ... focused on the positive and had fun.... NOTE I have no children we did this cruise for my friends 18 yo daughter high school graduation 1st cruise ... so she enjoyed rock wall, flow rider, water slide etc on board that are not important to me .... I look for nice pools and spas

This was quite nice ... but tram extremely rough ride (my friend has back issues and we felt there should have been a warning) ... other than the tram from the ship to the pier ... the tram around the island is on a dirt road and extremely bumpy I did not go to buffet on island but was told it was horrible... I went to a stand with fried cheese and fried dough ... heard the chicken sandwich was good, I thought fried cheese sticks were good and I threw out the fried dough .. although the birds on the island liked it when they stole it from people

Nassau, Bahamas Did not visit port

Been there in past and didn't feel need to go ... we enjoyed shop amenities instead. .. laying on pool deck and whirlpools and pool

RC may own Celebrity but the food is delicious on both, more so on Celebrity. We love it.
