Review summary

Music loud!!!!!! Cruise was generally,…ok. Was lacking interaction from the Captain, I think we had one announcement from him, BUT, he/they did a REMARKABLE job getting us out of port safely in 55-70 mph winds, great job

Terminal A is SUPER QUICK!! Boarded on scheduled time, was on the ship in 10 minutes

Food and Dining

Food venues all good, but, people these days have absolutely no consideration for others, expect a lot of pushing and shoving in the windjammer. Main dining was pretty good still has very nice staff, some supervision was extremely hard on staff, I noticed that, and wanted to tell them treat these workers a little better.

Onboard Activities

Water was too cold due to weather to enjoy pools, (for me), hot tubs, people literally spend their whole cruise in them, as if they were specific shareholders of the hot tubs.

Entertainment

The music should NOT be heard on deck 7 down the hallways, I like a hood song turned up now and then but every venue music was ridiculous loud! The performers actually had sone really god talent but the lame shows held the possibilities of the performers back.

Service and Staff

Most all of the staff had great attitudes, not fake, I do not know how they tolerate sone of the guests these days, some guests were rather belittling to sone of the staff and they handled it well. It was good to sea they had a separate area just for the crew to enjoy themselves, in private from the guests, good for RC here.

Pretty descent, shower is really tight, but has incredible pressure! Only two outlets, no usb, tv was good, cabin was actually nice, about what I expected

Ship tip

Music is REALLY LOUD. Music venues are so so. Captain might have blown the horn one time, seriously? The other ships did horn battles in Nassau, not us. Never even saw the Captain, we used to see the officers every cruise, not anymore. From experience, the shop handles very well in rough seas,

Based on recent travel warnings, I was apprehensive, stay in tourist areas you’ll be fine. I was surprised just how friendly the Bahamians were, whether it’s their job to or not. Very pretty area

Maybe the Captain was busy looking at the weather to keep you safe. I totally agree with you on how entitled guests treat the employees poorly. Very distasteful! I would like to see those same people work on a ship for 1 week. Would never last! Thank you for your review.

We are not fans of the bands on some of the ships, including Royal. They can be loud, and they all seem to play the same music.

Horn battles? I’m sure the people who live nearby love that! Lol. Personally I prefer the Captain drives the ship and not rubs elbows with the guests. I think that’s his job. We’ve never found the music to be too loud but everyone is different I suppose. Glad that overall you had a good trip.
