Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable cruise. Freedom of the Seas is a very nice ship. The food was great but the entertainment could be somewhat improved. I would definitely sail with Royal Caribbean in the future.

Food was delicious and the service was excellent in the main dining room on Deck 3.
Buffet was crowded at times but the food was tasty.
Onboard Activities

We participated in the following activities: Disney trivia, Star Wars trivia, pools, walking the track, scavenger hunt, lounging on deck 11, and cash bingo. I enjoyed all of the activities. However, on the "Day at Sea", it was hard to find lounge chairs to relax. The only ones available were on Deck 12 which had no shade. It would be nice to have some shade on Deck 12.
Entertainment

I really enjoyed the reggae band & dancing under the stars. I also attended 80's music night with DJ and 18+ club night with DJ. However, I felt that the DJ's music didn't really cater to African-Americans of Generation X. There could have been more variety of music to entertain this audience.

Ship layout and design was very nice. It took a while to get familiar with the boat. The common areas were always clean and well-maintained.

The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The cabin size was ok and it was clean.
I loved the way the port was remodeled since I was last there about 5 years ago. I didn't do an excursion. We just walked to Junkanoo beach and shopped at the Straw Market.
