Review summary

This was our first cruise and we absolutely loved it! We can't wait to go on another one! It was perfect for a family with older children. It gave us a chance to do things together as a family during the day, have a nice dinner together, and then the kids could go off in the evening with friends they'd met and have some social time.

Ship tip

Do a longer trip than 4 days - it just wasn't enough time to take advantage of everything they had to offer.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

3 out of 5
We were not huge fans of Miami. We did not do an excursion.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

4 out of 5
We liked it but the weather was unusually cold - like a high of 72 - so we didn't get to enjoy it as much as we'd hoped to. It wasn't the fault of the cruise - just a national cold snap.

Nassau, Bahamas

4 out of 5
We were glad we did an excursion here. We liked Pearl Island but wish we had known to have more cash with us for it. They were having power issues so using a credit card was tricky.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Fine but could have used some better information - like someone to be at the disembark points to give directions, etc.

Congrats on your first cruise! We did a 4 day Disney cruise once & agree, it just wasn’t long enough. BUT, we did a last minute 5 day cruise out of Galveston & we were pleasantly surprised to find we didn’t feel like we were cut short on our vacation. Thanks for sharing!

Congrats on your 1st cruise. 4 days might seem a little short, but sit back and think of all the fun, fulfilling times had by all. Our rule of thumb is cruise what the budget allows. I tell my wife ports of call are OK, but I would be happy if we just go out in the Caribbean and spin doughnuts because there is always something to do onboard, including relaxing with a good book.

Welcome to the wonderful world of cruising. I agree completely that 4 days is not long enough. Hope your next cruise is longer and even better. Appreciate your feedback.
