Review summary

Overall the cruise was amazing but way too short! I wish we had had at least one at sea day just so that we could have explored the ship more. A three night cruise just isn't quite enough. The food was okay, the main dining room was much better than the wind jammer. Service on the whole ship was impeccable.

The room was very spacious for a cruise cabin. Perfect for two people, especially with only a three night cruise. Everything was clean and the room steward was amazing. The bed was very comfortable. I had read before that the beds were rock hard but it didn't feel that way to us at all. It was firm but still soft enough.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

This was our favorite port! It was amazing being on a private island and being catered to like we were VIP. We snorkeled and did the jet ski excursion. Jet skiing was amazing, I highly recommend it. You end up jet skiing for about an hour. The sand was super soft and the water was really clear. Do watch out when you are snorkeling for tiny jellyfish though. We did get some stings on our arms but they didn't hurt that much cuz they were very very tiny. Your drink packages and the food on the island are included so you don't need to pay for anything extra well you're there.

Be forewarned that this is a very long pier. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time to get back to the boat. All aboard was 4:30 p.m. and people were still coming to the boat by 4:50 and at 5:00 there were a couple of runners who barely made it. Once you're in town it can feel a bit overwhelming but not unsafe. The locals are all very friendly and there are a lot of souvenir options right outside of the port. If you walk toward the right you'll eventually get to the straw market. The market is crazy with how much the vendors try to sell to you. If you're not prepared to say no and keep walking you'll get overwhelmed quickly. If you are wanting to make a deal though on some of the same souvenirs that you can buy in the stores this is where you should go. We went there first and got a couple of things and then went to the souvenir stores to supplement. For our excursion we went on the See and Sea tour. We walked down the pier and into a parking lot which led to a boat that we tendered on. That boat was interesting because he was giving us a tour of some of the houses along the canal. It brought us out to the semi-sub which is really just a boat with a deep hull that has windows in it. My husband struggled a bit with feeling a little seasick on that because the windows are slightly curved and it almost looks like you're spinning in circles instead of going straight. But we saw some cool fish and even a nurse shark. After the semi-sub tour we tendered back to the dock and for some people their tour was done if they had just chosen that part but a group of us went on to do the city tour. The city tour was very informative. The tour guide even stopped at the Queen's staircase for us and let us get out which was not on the original tour. We had about 15 minutes to check out that area. After the tour was done we still had plenty of time to go into Nassau to eat and shop. Our tour was done by about 12:30 ship time.
