Review summary

The service was amazing, the food was great, and the ports were beautiful. Overall, I had a great time on this cruise and I would go on it again.

Embarkation

1 out of 5
I received a text to come an hour after my reservation time of 1pm because they were behind and I arrived at 1:50pm to absolute chaos outside of the terminal. No one was being let in and all 2 thousand passengers were still standing outside. It took an hour and a half of standing outside to be let into the terminal.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food was easily one of the top three best things about this ship. Such good food everywhere you went! Sometimes the windjammer food was not as hot as I would of liked but a lot of things had great flavor.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
I wish there was more to do but the activities that I did go to were great! I loved the ice show, I loved karaoke. I watched some people use the rock climbing but I didn’t find it until the last day. It was very complicated to get to the flowrider and sports area in the back of the ship. The hot tubs that extended the side of the ship were amazing and very spacious. The pools were too cold to enjoy.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
I was pleasantly entertained with the ice show and all the performers I encountered like the DJs and the rock band that played at night. It was very entertaining!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
My top three favorite things about this ship is the staff. We had an amazing room attendant and dinner staff. Everywhere I went I was greeted and service was super quick and friendly. It all felt very welcoming.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
This shop is very well maintained. But the elevators are not. Elevators are touch screen and the right side touch screen didn’t work for a majority of them so you had to be mindful of the screen to see if your floor is pressed.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
When I got to the room the beds were split instead of together but I told the room steward and he fixed it right away. I really liked the space of this room as compared to an interior in carnival ships. The room had a couch and a tv on a swivel mount so it was very nice to turn the tv to wherever you were. The room was cleaned twice a day and was always left very clean with new towels. The bathroom was a little small compared to other cruises I’ve been on but I loved that the shower had doors and not a curtain!

Ship tip

Some floors do not connect and you have to take certain elevators/stairs to get to where you want to go.

Ports of call

Nassau, Bahamas

5 out of 5
I have only ever been to Nassau on a weekend and I have to say that going on a weekend is so much nicer. I don’t know if it was because it was in December but every time I have been there it’s so hot and there are people everywhere! But this time it was surprisingly nice.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
You can use the internet and drink package on this island!!! This is my first private island that I go on a cruise but it was amazing. There is a lot of shade as well. They really thought a lot about the guests when building this place. It was very nice.

Disembarkation

1 out of 5
Disembarkation was as chaotic as embarkation. I waited about 30 minutes to get off the ship only to be told that I could not get off and needed to go to guest services. I then waited another 30 minutes at guest services to get answers on why I was blocked from getting off. I was told I had a balance of $80 that needed to be paid. Which is very funny considering I was at guest services at 10pm the night before to see if anything was due and they told me everything was good on my account. I was able to just pay the amount due after verifying everything was accurately charged. The whole process took 1 hour and 30 minutes just to get out of the ship. Had they just told me my account had a balance the night before I would have paid it then and been off the ship in 30 minutes.
