Loved this cruise and recommend to anyone looking for a variety of activities and experiences
Embarkation

Our group had a junior suite, so we were fortunate enough to have access to the suite lounge prior to boarding. Incredibly fast and easy document verification process.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Mainly ate meals in MDR; their food was fine—nothing extra special or heinous. Shoutout to their breakfast. It was super delicious and a nice way to start the day without the lines at Windjammer.
Pizza at Sorrento’s was probably the biggest disappointment. I last cruised with RC in 2019 and I remember much better quality and huge slices. These were dry, somewhat flavorless, and very small portions.
The best (complimentary) food in Freedom IMO is at El Loco Fresh on Main Pool Deck. Outstanding quesadillas and burritos!!! The sides and toppings were well presented and super tasty.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Rained almost the entire 4 days so our group (two school-aged boys, two active moms in 40’s, one very active grandpa in 60’s) didn’t get a chance to use the outside decks/activities as much as we planned.
Despite this, we got to carve out some chunks of time to play mini golf, ping pong, go on the water slides, and in the main pool and splash zone. It was all super fun, just so bummed at the crap weather each day. All the sports activities are well-maintained and staffed. Lots of lifeguards on duty, and various staff everywhere ready to help. Outside decks were always clean.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Took full advantage of any and all music venues, bands, karaoke, and game shows and competitions. The entertainment team (George, Romeo, Thaïs, Tristan) are incredibly talented and added a ton of fun to any and all events they hosted.

Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
The cabins are dated at this point especially compared to newer ships. But considering the value and how clean the stewards maintain cabins, it’s a good trade off. LOOVED our location-Junior suite aft right over the large Crown/Anchor logo on deck 7. Got some same perks of booking a Suite without the steep price.
Ship tip
Don’t bother booking a Casita. Plenty of free shaded seating around the deck, and the “perks” aren’t worth the cost they charged. Plus if you’re sailing in bad weather like we did, it’s just a waste.
