WOW what an introduction to cruising! Great service, entertainment and overall an amazing time on this cruise. I’ve already booked 2 more cruises this year and hoping to add more after experiencing my first cruise on ever.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
We arrived at our designated time at the port but still had to wait in a long line outside. It moved fast and was a relatively painless experience.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Decent amount of variety and some really great options. Main dining room got a little monotonous essentially having escargot and steak each night but that’s my fault for being a bit picky! Overall pleasant dining options. Bars were a little slow during peak times which is to be expected and some bartenders were a bit rude but we just moved onto one of the other bars and enjoyed our drinks!
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Had a great time doing all onboard activities from the slides to the pool, pickleball and more! Loved being onboard
Entertainment
4 out of 5
The ice show was cheesy, the main theatre show was amazing quality and the comedian was not my personal favorite. Ice show was fun to experience but a little cheesy. Fantastic ice skaters though. The main show “once upon a time” or something like that was really flawless from the singing to the set! The “adult” comedy show wasn’t very funny but many people seemed to enjoy it!
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
The staff and service was very very good except one night dinner service was slow, and the couple of rude bartenders. Overall really great service especially from the room attendant.
Ship Quality

Don’t have much comparison as it’s my first cruise but loved the promenade and the solarium. Great design and very clean shop!
Cabin / Stateroom

Amazing balcony cabin! Super spacious room. Small bathroom which was too be expected. Spoiled myself with the balcony but probably won’t splurge on that in the future as I spent so little time in the actual cabin.
I liked that the food was included! The water was too cold for my liking to be swimming in both the beach and pool. But it was a great time to get some food, walk around the island and then return to the ship to do the slides and enjoy the pool when it wasn’t so busy.
This is my first ever cruise port so it’s hard to compare but I’m obviously aware that Nassau gets a bad reputation. I planned a very inexpensive day doing a self guided walking tour to the queens staircase, the fort, the rum distillery etc… and then ended at Cabbage Beach which was beautiful. I enjoyed it :)
We had one cruise where one bartender was a horses ass. Overall I think Royal vets their staff well, but I guess one can always sneak through. We just avoided that one once we figured out we didn’t like his attitude. We love Royal overall, and I’m glad you had a great cruise.
