Review summary

hopefully as the pandemic goes away (for the rest of the world) been done in Florida for over a year, the foolish restrictions on the ships will go away too. We had a good time, ship was great, but there obvious things lacking that we are used to and look forward to. All in the name of covid, but then, just like on land, the uneven policies of worrying about crowds in one corner only to ignore them in the next corner. Masks here not there, crowd here not there, extra careful in this place, careless around the corner. End the madness.

Dining room was great, chops was extremely slow and delayed, Izumi was a great time and great food, windjammer was good except I want to chose and serve my own meal not have everything thrown on my plate in portions and arranged how a server prefers.

Onboard Activities

no sail away party, no 70s night, no promenade shows. In typical no sense covid times, trying to avoid crowds, but then 750 people squeezed like sardines in the disco.

Entertainment

would be nice if they had an early and late show so the late dinner guests can get to see the shows. We only saw the ice show and 5 minutes of the theater show.

Service and Staff

staff is still wonderful in every respect.

Freedom is still one of the best ships in the fleet and now even better after the dry dock.

Cabin / Stateroom

the few extra feet on the spacious balcony are noticeable.
