Review summary

Could have been better but Royal Caribbean is looking to become a cheap cruise line and lowering its standards which is sad after the amount of money paid.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
I have a 10-year-old in the family and we had a longer process to do which included a Covid testing.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
Food quality is coming down to match other cheaper cruise lines. Then, why pay more? Just use the cheaper one.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Always the same issue, activities on high demand are happening at the same time and you only have one shot at it. So I missed a few. Then I need to analyze how many people sign up and space them out.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
It was ok, nothing out of the ordinary

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
A good program to keep kids busy so you have time for yourself.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
A few double standards regarding covid protocols, some staff was strict and others were ok

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very clean

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
All good but some features in the room like the hairdryer, we reported it and was never replaced.

Ship tip

Try to go on the Harmony or Symphony of the seas.

Ports of call

Nassau, Bahamas

3 out of 5
Covid protocols were not followed, however, they try to make you think they care. Excursion was ok.

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

1 out of 5
Cold, water in the pool was freezing, did not reimburse money for returning earlier. Even the lifeguards had long sleeves and pants plus jackets to be warm

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Easy and fast

Shorter cruise are different. Thanks for sharing your cruise.

It is common knowledge that cruises less than 7 days are a different experience and draw a different crowd.

Thanks for the review. Lowered expectations and flexibility are the key to cruising during Covid. Not sure why Royal Caribbean would be to blame for water being cold in November (to be expected) or what would have been refunded.
