Review summary

Decided to cruise on Royal Caribbean to compare it to Carnival. After this cruise, I decided that Carnival is the cruise line for me. I get more for my money with Carnival and I have more fun.

I did the same. I like both and I don't find Carnival to be 'ghetto'. You will find the same cruisers on both lines. The biggest reason that I won't go back on Freedom of the Seas is the bed. It was ridiculously hard. My back was hurting all week. I loved the ship layout, the service and the main dining room food. The shows were awesome! They did nickel and dime me to death. Carnival has way more food choices that are included. I also love the comedy club on Carnival.

Different strokes for different folks, for me personally the 2 Carnival cruises I have taken, is 1 too many.
