Would do this type of cruise again - if it wasn't for the long haul from Australia. Loved every minute of it and made some amazing new friends.
Embarkation

This was wonderful, so fast compared to Australian - Brisbane - port. We were through and on the ship in less than 30 minutes.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
My wife and I loved the main dining area (My Time) as we got to eat fabulous food, great waiters - Christopher and Privan - meet some wonderful new friend and the process was not delayed.
The final night was wonderful as the waiter - Christopher - joked with us and even presented my wife with a lovely Cookie Ice Cream sandwich as a joke to her wanting the Hot baked cookie. All in fun.
We also got to meet 4 lovely people who we now have on Facebook as friends and hope to be able to catch up again in the future.
The Main Dining is also fantastic for breakfast and lunch as no one goes there as they tend to hit Windjammers. Leaving us to dine quietly on salads and fresh pasta dishes, plus other wonderful choices.
Schooner Bar
5 out of 5
We love the Schooner bar thanks to Ferdy and JR for an amazing time. The drinks kept refilling magically and they were so friendly. We loved this bar on the Legends o the Seas to Hong Kong in 2016 and again here.
Different experience on this cruise as most people would disappear post he trivia. But we still loved it and will always make time for the schooner bar if it exists.
Olive or Twist

Wonderful on the first day. Wore a pirate hat and they bar staff loved and made the sail away even better.!
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Did not use these.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
It is time for the cruise directors to start adding more activities like parties and dancing in the earlier hours. Things like the street party at 10:30pm were great but for some it was too late - especially when you have early start for onshore tours.
We like to dance but everything was post 10:30pm and we just wake too early and be social through the day.
For this cruise we did feel there was little outside of trivia and the shows on the this cruise did not appeal to us as we did not attend any.
What we did love was the Dancing in the Streets, DreamWorks parade, Casino time and
Children's Programs
No children this cruise

Ship Quality

Love the inside cabin windows to the Promenade made it more homely. Easy walking and locating everything. The glass elevators were a blast oo.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
The room was fantastic - just what we needed. Bed was King size and very comfortable.
The window to the Promenade just made it more homely and less boxed in. Would do it again.
Loved this port and the Rum Tour. The place was beautiful and everything that the Caribbean promised. We loved the fact two ships were in port and that everything was in walking distance
Shopping was brilliant here - new ring for the wife and a new watch for me.
Loved the Maho tour and the fact we got to see the rebuild from Hurricane Irma. We were a little disappointed we ran out of time to swim in the beautiful turquoise water but overall it was wonderful trip
This port was great with six ships lined up. We did a San Juan Old and New tour but it did not deliver. We were disappointed to be dropped in Old San Juan to be told to explore. Nothing was open and after 10 minutes of photos we were done in that section.
However did get to have a lovely breakfast with my wife just off the Christopher Columbus statue park. First truly amazing coffee on the entire USA Trip.
In defense though they were not expecting ships due to high seas and boy were they big. But still it was the driver of the bus that let us down that day (Bus 10 - Carlos). Gave very little information on the areas going to and just dropped to explore. Not what we were expecting and could have walked to the areas ourselves in Old San Juan from the ship
Would not recommend the tour.
Loved the Rum Bar on the port area and the shopping again yielded a beautiful ring for my loving wife.
This was terrific and first chance to swim. Just such a relaxing day - a little over priced for the activities but just the swimming was great and the walking tour was insightful.
Do this again in a heartbeat and brave the activities next time - ensure put the funds aside.
Ok this was probably the worse part of the entire trip. Getting off the ship was first a balls up. We were told adjust watches by one hour yet we had not moved watches forward so we were up and ready to leave over 1 hour prior to departure time.
Being second of the shop we had bags go missing and did not come off until the last sections were pulled out over 30 minutes. This was frustrating when 3 of the bags were in the right place the last one was not.
The chaos outside the terminal was stupid. We were expecting a ride pick up but they could not find us or stop long enough to locate us. after 1.5 hours of waiting we gave up and left by Uber.
The chaos of the pick up and taxis and buses was poorly coordinated and needs to be better managed at terminal 29. It became a free for all in the end and we missed precious time in Miami because of it.
