Review summary

This was the 2nd time traveling on this ship. It was just as nice as when it was new when we traveled on it 1st. And even being on the ship for the 2nd time it was a different experience. The Staff was exceptional and activities were abundant. Be sure to see the ice show in studio B. You can even ice skate on the ship. And try put-put golf...an interesting game..not too much rocking but it made it fun to predict where the ball was going.

Lines were relatively short and the check in process was a breeze.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Main dining room food and staff were amazing. They were extremely attentive to my dietary needs and allergies. And I had no issues with any reactions. I continue to be amazed with Royal and their dining services.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Lots to do on the ship. Easy to find something to do at all times. Playing put-put golf was hit.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
All the shows and very good. I especially enjoyed the ice show. Its amazing they could do all their tricks and movements on a moving ship.

Children's Programs

no children traveling with us

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All staff were very nice and attentive. Our cabin stewart was very sweet and our table waiter, Ramile had amazing service.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was being cleaned at all times. I cant say I saw anything that needed attention. The layout was easy to navigate for a larger ship bit would have preffered to be able to walk around the outside deck in a full circle.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our family oceanview room was very spacious with a lot of closet space and floor open area. Traveling with 3 older children there was ample room but the pull out couch was not suited for a larger body. Not very comfortable. Having the bunk room was nice to store suitcases and extras. And shower water pressure was terrific and the cabin was clean and comfortable.

Ship tip

The helli pad was the perfect spot for departures. To access go out deck 4 and up the stairs towards the front of the ship or find the secret door by the dj booth in star lounge deck 5 to reduce stairs.

Ports of call

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

5 out of 5
This port was close to the airport so travel to and from the ship was quick and easy.

George Town, Grand Cayman

A tendered port...we walked around and had a nice time.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

We did the Royal Arial Adventure. The price was acceptional and worth the money and zip lines were very fun. The equipment was in newer condition which eased my husbands nerves. 😊 And was close to port, not a long journey to get to the park.

Cozumel, Mexico

We walked to Sunset Bar which was so peaceful sitting on the deck looking out on the water, with the cruise ships in the background. They also had snooba and snorkeling on their beach that many enjoyed. It was nice to dip our feet in the water with a cool beer in our hand.

Disembarkation

Use the customs app and it was quick and easy. Picking up luggage was a breeze. We were off the ship quick and pre arranged for 123 Shuttle to pick us up.
