Review summary

We all loved it! Great family vacation! There was something for everyone. It was comfortable to be there with kids, elegant but not too stuffy. We will definitely be cruising with Royal again.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
We did mytime dining and our server, Raj, was amazing. The food was delicious with a combination of comfort classics and adventure. The specialty restaurants were wonderful as well. We certainly felt beyond satisfied.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The pool was the main activity for us. Mostly our daughter did the swimming and we lounged and read. We played miniature golf and bingo as well, but we really did not have a lot of downtime because the itinerary was so full.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
My mom was the only one who was able to fit in a show and she said it was excellent (good compliment from a lady who loves broadway). I got to hear some live music which was also really good.

Children's Programs

Our daughter loved it!

Service and Staff

Everyone was amazing! We felt so well taken care of.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
It's a smaller ship which was actually really nice.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
It was perfect for us. And the location was great because we were on the same side as the dining rooms and kids area.

Ship tip

The pool next to the jacuzzis seemed heated. That's pretty much the only one we went in.

Very easy. We opted to pay extra to stay on board and it worked out great. Our daughter got to swim some more, and we weren't rushed.

Freedom of the Seas is a favorite for us also. We have had 3 cruises on FoS and we are booked for 2 more next year. There is not a single area where the crew did not excel and it was really very obvious that the crew is motivated to provide the passengers with an outstanding cruise vacation.

How much was it to stay onboard longer? What time did you disembark?

I took my first cruise on Freedom. We've been on her over times. We cruise alot, mainly Royal, but just tried Celebrity and like the extra perks that we got.....sizewise, the Freedom class is our favorite!
