Review summary

Comparing crew service with Carnival, Carnival was better as dining room servers knew who you were and got your preferences and orders right.

Teen program was almost non-existant compared with Carnival.

Think we prefer Carnival.

We have been on over a dozen Royal Caribbean cruises and I have to say our last cruise on Freedom of the Seas we had issues in the dining room also with service. Was not the norm for RCCL.

It is hard to relate the server to the cruise line. We have had good, personable and not so good on the same lines. Carnival crew does seem more free to talk with guests though. That's usually a good thing unless you get one trying to pick up your daughter like we had on Carnival one time!
