Review summary
the personnel on rccl where outstanding but management sucks, they now charge 5% for me to use my own money in the casino, they used to play bingo with multiple games, I paid $142 to play 3 games, how cheap can you get, and all I got for my money was a stupid t-shirt with the word bingo, in large letters on the back, the couldn"t even use rccl logo on the back, my grandkids wouldn"t even wear them, I threw them in the garbage. also on one occasion we did not dress up and supper in the buffet. what a disappointment. I found hot dogs, french fries, and hamburgers. what kind of supper buffet is that. If rccl continues to get cheap then i might as well get cheap also and start looking for bargains on other cruise lines. I have been on 4 rccl cruises. what a big disappointment that they have gotten that cheap. I traveled with my son and his wife and paid for us all at chops, the lobster for $21 dollars was a 1 pd. lobster cut in half. not more than 6 or 7 ounces of tail. and my braised beef was unchewable. when I brought it to their attention they just took it away with no remorse or comment of any kind, what a wasted $161

To be respectful of the Windjammer staff, there is much more found in the Windjammer for dinner. Every dinner there is a new carved meat, multiple hot sides, other meat choices, a themed meal along the grill area (Mexican inspired, whole pig roast, hibachi, and a different one every night that followed), picnic food as described, soups, endless salad options, sushi/Asian food every night, as well as countless dessert options. I don't know if you happened upon it as it was just opening or closing but I have never ventured into the Windjammer and there not been much more available than just as described. We eat in the Windjammer every night because we have three young children and prefer to relax than sit in the main dining room for hours each night. After 29+ dinners (100+meals when including breakfast and lunch) in the Windjammer on multiple ships we have never had a point where we had lack of choice. I would suggest writing your concern of the Windjammer to Royal Caribbean directly because if that was the case there obviously was an issue that night.
