Review summary

Our biggest treat was being upgraded to a Grand Suite for the first time. With the privileges we were able to meet our fantastic concierge who took fabulous care of us. Providing the opportunity to dine with the Captain, a private tour of the bridge and a behind the scenes tour of the ice skating rink. Everything was first class for us. Our cabin steward was top notch. First Class too.

The grand suite was first class. This was our first time in a grand suite and have now booked a future cruise in a grand suite.

Ship tip

Always be kind to the staff and crew and they will always be kind to you. It may be their job, but they work so hard and are only human so they really appreciate the kindness from the kind passengers.

Just saw these comments. Sorry for the delay. We were just lucky with the upgrade. Once in a lifetime opportunity. We did not take any excursions since we are familiar with many of the ports. He bridge tour came from being nice to the Concierge in the Diamond Plus lounge.

For Diamond Plus and Pinnacle guests, those are normal perks.
