Review summary

For part of cruise was the stops and be able to get off the ship. Love the water.

Our room attendant was fantastic as well our dining attendants.

Express exit in the AM was wonderful.

What needs improvement:

The morning wait staff- need to talk to each other and help the guests.---Restaurant on  3rd deck

Fix the plumbing issues in our son's room.

Compensate for not being to go where the plan was- understand the safety issues but it was a real disappointment.

Stop nickel and dining everything-30 dollars for a small bag of dirty laundry.

Have a first time cruisers seminar on the first day.

Have more than one soft serve ice cream machine.

There is a plethora of cruising forums. If you love cruising you must do your homework before you sail. Seasoned cruisers know best times to cruise with & without kids, itinerary is often changed so you MUST be flexible and find the fun at sea or new port, importance of preplanning for all especially first time cruisers because a cruise line seminar will always be a way to market their product to you. The most important thing I learned about being loyal to Royal Carribbean cruise line is each ship and fleet has their own unique ammenities & rule inforcement. You can not have expectations of the same experience on your next sailing & it creates lots of disappointment for some but lots of excitement for people like me who love surprise & wow. There are also many meet ups onboard with cruisers from forums like this. Fun to meet the people you've been chatting with and learn some of their cruising tips. I am new to ship mate. If there is a way to message me I am happy to share.

We were supposed to go to St thomas and St marteen. We went to Costa Maya and cozumel instead. The excursions at St thomas and St marteen were refunded.

We are about to take this cruise on Sunday. Since they couldn't take you to the port planned, where did you go? Which port was it? And what happens if you already paid for an excursion there? First timer here

I called about the change of ports and they said in the paperwork it states that changes in ports can occur and they are not responsible. I agree with the ice cream machine and they should have it 24/7. I also told them they needed to have a 3 hour time frame for adults only at the rock wall mini golf and flow rider. I'm on vacation I don't want to deal with kids running and screaming. I'm supposed to be relaxed. And also they need to give out headphones for the movies on the screen by the pool. Again trying to watch London Has Fallen with people yelling and screaming in the pool ticked me off. Other than those things we did have fun. The changes in ports did suck but I'm happy we went to places where the weather was nice and didn't have to stay on the ship for 4 to 5 straight days...yikes
