Review summary

We were in a Grand Suite celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. The suite was very spacious and the bathroom, including a full size tub, was huge in comparison to a regular cabin. The plumbing was horrible. I was nearly scalded in the shower when my wife turned the water on in the vanity. The vanity water pressure was very low and the "cold" water was almost hot at times. They do treat you very good in a suite with lots of perks, but at the end of the day, I would rather spend the same amount of money and get twice the number of days in a balcony room.

5yrs ago today we were boarding freedom of the seas day after our sons wedding. Large group of wedding party went. Parents on their honeymoon?? Lol they always have said they loved having us as part of the group but then we made sure we only saw everybody at the dinner table. He had the grand suite which was fabulous! Have seen suites on other ships, smaller & not as nice. Saw it at cocktail time 1st & last night. Suite spoiled them for sure. We must be ok to cruise with as they have been with us on a few since Freedom of the seas. As long as it's a balcony I'm a happy cruiser!! We now put extra $$ on designations...just so much to see!! Wishing Many more happy years together!!
