Review summary

Best cruise ever!  Best things about it were the private island Labadee, Haiti and the amenities of the ship.  Definitely will be cruising on this category again.   Only problem I experienced was with room service.  Called continually one night and could not get through.  Left an order on door knob another night for breakfast the next morning and it was not delivered.

Very good. Can't decide if paying extra for balcony is worth it as we stayed out of the room most of the time. Also, we had some obnoxious kids next door that did not appear to be supervised and kept "hanging" over on our side.

Ship tip

We did not realize until the last day that the pizza at Somento's did not cost extra. Also, the desserts at Starbucks were. Included. (Not coffee).

We let them stand, I used my own thank you cards. I think the envelopes were there for convience. You should get an email from RCI to review your cruise, this is where we named the staff indivually and rated them.

@tracyandchuck Do you pull back your prepaid or let them stand? Also wondering about those envelopes they have available for Xtra gratuities....we just gave directly but I'm wondering if they missed out on extra recognition from the cruiseline? We just completed our first cruise in April.

We did all extra tips (cabin steward, bartenders, pool wait staff, mdr wait staff, room service) in cash that way the workers don't have to pay taxes on them.

Room service is included up until midnight then a small fee - about 4.00. We always tipped the server in cash, u can add to your account or not tip at all, which isn't very nice in my opinion :)

I have paid through Virgin Holidays for every all inclusive. Would this include room service, or is this extra charge.

We ordered from the tv, they called to confirm and it was delivered within 40 min. The food was very good😀
